Bio-Identical Hormone Replacement (BHRT) Therapy

Simply put, BHRT is the supplementation of naturally occurring hormone molecules to offset the natural decline of these as we age.

While the therapeutic goal of BHRT is to minimize the adverse effects of menopause, many refer to its effects as the fountain of youth. BHRT Molecules

There are a limited number of molecules that are bio-identical (naturally occurring) and some are available in manufactured pharmaceutical products.  The biggest problem with these products is their dosing inflexibility.  As such, they tend to be an one size fits all proposition.  Given the fact that the best treatment is generally agreed upon as the lowest amount that achieves the goal of balancing the hormones, maintaining the various hormone ratios and eliminating the untoward effects of hormone deficiency, products that do not lend themselves to flexible dosing can be less desirable.
